Our plans start at just one employee up to association plans of hundreds of employers and thousands of employees. We can custom design a plan for you business.
Are benefit plans expensive?
We can design a plan around your budget. Recruiting new qualified talent is expensive. If you are not offering a competitive benefits package can you afford to lose your best employees?
How are costs shared between the employer and employee?
The employer decides how costs are shared. However we can structure plans that have no minimum employer contribution.
Who is eligible for the plan?
Most employers cover full time employees only (20 hours per week min). However we can offer plans to cover part time, seasonal, contract or student workers if you wish.
Do workers need to provide medical evidence in order to be covered by the plan?
Not necessarily. If you have enough employees in the plan medical evidence may be waived.
Are group RRSP's offered as part of your plans?
We can setup group RRSP, TFSA and pension plans for your employees.
Can I have my common law spouse covered under my plan?
Yes. Providing you have met the definition of common law spouse in your province of residence.
My employees are covered by their spouses.
That's ok, we can customize the plan for each employee. If your spouse covers you for dental you can opt out of that coverage and save money.
What if I want to offer my employees extra benefits (perks)?
This has become very popular and we can help. We provide employee wellness accounts. The options are limitless but common benefits are; gym memberships, sports club fees, daycare, safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, pet insurance, etc.
Can you cover "hard to insure" businesses?
Yes. We have worked with several companies that the major insurers shy away from. Roofers, landscapers, arborists, seasonal business, contract workers, martial arts clubs.
Can benefits be different from one employee to the next?
Yes. We are able to structure a plan to allow money that is not used for one benefit to be transferred to another. For example. An employee does not wear glasses and chooses to opt for more professional services such as speech therapy for their child.
Do you support what you sell?
Absolutely. Our team is always available to answer questions and help in every way. We are very proud to say that we answer our phones! No "press one for English" prompts with us.
What if I want to buy my own plan and not involve my employer or employees?
We can offer individual benefits as well.
How do you make sure we are getting the best value?
We are independent insurance brokers. We have contracts will all the major insurance companies in Canada as well as several third party administrators. We can shop the market for you saving you valuable time and money.
Do you plans include travel insurance?
Travel coverage can be added to your plan. We also sell individual travel insurance and offer super visa coverage for travellers to Canada.
